things that happen while i'm drying my hair

Exhibit A:
A cake that used to read "Happy Birthday David" left on top of the counter in the kitchen.

Exhibit B:
A can opener abandoned only after a certain toddler tired of using it as a torture device for a certain canine.

Exhibit C:
art

more art...
Can I just say that I'm still working on getting those stains out of my bathtub? Washable, my rear.

If you see me around and notice that I'm looking a little "frizzy" or "poofy" in the coif, you know the reason why.
It's looking like I may not be able to groom myself for the next 18 years.

Hi Jennifer,

Great post! Very insightful!

Hey. If you get the opportunity, would you
mind praying for the prayer requests that are
on our main page?

May the Lord bless you and your family!!

That is funny. It's amazing what all they can get into.

I'm so glad to see a beautiful, sweet little girl pulling this kind of stuff, it does my heart good :)

It is amazing the stuff they can get into in just a matter of minutes! Don't get me started on my new concealer that Jake smashed all over the place while I folded laundry...grrr.

My nephew stays with us off and on and he used those bathtub crayons in the bath and I can STILL see a faint "Matthew" on the side of the tub!

She got a lot done in a short period of time!

Hilarious!! She's a smart girl -- the cake looks good! Hey, what the heck is with basketball??? I forgot they take over Y&R. Argh.

Just sounds like something little creative people would do. Made me giggle because I pass the same pencil marks on the stairwell every day. I can totally relate.

Bless you! I know how it is....just a suggestion, Magic Erasers. I should be the spokesperson for these. If you want to go the cheaper route, I think Walmart sells the store brand ones that work just as well.

Just stopping by from SITS to say hi. My little girl drew all over my white purse with black pen this week. I'm feeling your pain.

Come check out my spring giveaway!

I can so relate!! My three year old can really make a mess in the 5 minutes it takes to dry my hair:)

Oh no! Ha! That is too funny. I'm with Jill...I was going to suggest Magic Erasers too...I swear by those things.

Oh - I know it's not really funny, but I am laughing so hard right now! That kind of stuff always happens to me!

I've had many experiences like that involving nail polish, paint, sharpies and food/pantry items!

XOXO
Jen

PS - I so agree with the poster above about Magic Erasers!!!! Life avers!!!

Jennifer,

Linda H. at Worthington Chrristain Elementary School gave me the address for your blog- she didn't know your e-mail address. I am working on a project for the girls in your 1st class of first-graders and wanted to see if you could write a short note to include in a book I am preparing for them as they leave elementary school and start middle school. My address is tmcintosh@juno.com. Thanks!

I can't even remember where I clicked here from, but I've now bookmarked your Martha Monday's blog and felt I had to comment in solidarity on this post. I have three little boys and if I dain (dane?) to leave them unattended (you know, like, to use the bathroom with the door actually locked) I usually exit to craziness akin to your exhibits. Thanks for sharing!
