find a penny

This is what the CD player in my car says when someone shoves a PENNY into it.

The real problem is that the penny doesn't seem to want to come back out. Either does the Raffi CD that is spinning around and around... and around in my CD player.

Guess who is currently listening to Raffi non-stop?
Lucky me.

If I hear "The More We Get Together" one more time I may have to be institutionalized.

Gotto Go...
Off to google "how to remove a penny from CD player"

Oh I hate to laugh at your misery, but been there. Except it was a blue ray dvd player and 3 more dvd's on top of the one already in there. It was ruined. The same thing happened with our Playstation 3, it had 2 in addition to the one already in it, but it was ok.

Dont forget to check out my giveaway!

Love and Prayers,

Tim

Yeah, that proves to be a problem. I hope both Raffi and the penny come out soon!!

I think Avery and Jamison were separated at birth...I had a Vue too and Jamison put pennies in my CD player too. It luckily didn't damage the CD player.

I'm not sure if removing a penny is anything at all like removing $1.43 worth of coins from a cassette tape. However, if the two situations are anything alike...

a tongue depressor/popsicle stick with a little bit of tape securely wrapped around the end works perfect.

That might be the ONE thing my kids have yet to do...I'm sure the time is coming.

Praying the penny magically ejects itself ;)

Oh no! And you didn't even have a good Mommy CD in there - I feel the Raffi pain. Actually I didn't even know who that was until this morning when I took Savannah to story time at the library, and they played many, many of the songs. Oh my.

I spent many a day babysitting my best friend's toddler when he was in a Wiggles phase. If we weren't watching the Wiggles on TV, we had to have the CD playing in the background. All day. Every day. Ugh.

UGH! First I said, long ago...I will NOT listen to kiddy crap in the car, no matter what my kid wants. Then I was thrilled when my son loooved "my" music, how cute was he jamming and bouncing along to NKOTB???? But NOW...EVERY TIME we get in the car he demands "Dance! Dance!" with a cute little wiggle in his seat. Then we have to listen to Kindermusik kiddy crap till we get to our destination. I'm such a sucker. Can your daughter come stick a penny in my CD player?? Please? And while she is at it, can she PLEASE kill the Kay story on Y&R already??
