a little room to breathe, please
This is the view that David has every day when he comes in the door from work.
We can't just sit NEXT to mommy or NEAR mommy.
We have to be ON mommy.
Twirling her hair.
Tightly.
VERY tightly.
While she nurses Charlie.
Good times.
Sometimes, we like to mix things up a bit and climb on mommy's back while she nurses.
That's a fun one.
Last night, I decided to take a shower -- fully expecting the beautiful solace that only exists in the privacy of that tiny space in our house.
Guess who (loudly and with the persistence that only a 2-year-old could possess) decided that she needed a shower too?
So much for privacy.
It makes me wonder why we went to all the hassle to add on to our house when, clearly, we only plan to use 24 inches of space at a time.

Haha this looks like my life two years ago. For the record, I didn't make my little girl stop the hair twirling and now my son does it too. :) Cute family
Cute picture:)
Wib.
Oh, it has to be crazy for you, but it really looks just lovely! :)
cute picture!
cute family!
she loves her mama!!! my oldest one was like this... she will grow out of it soon... hopefully!!!
That's adorable!
I'm worried about how my son is going to handle having a baby sister soon. He'll nearly be two and he's my snuggler, so I hope I grow two more arms!
oh how true...at least you seem more humored by it than annoyed. lily and jade usually play peek a boo with the shower curtain while i'm in...a bit too chilly for me!
they are precious!
stop by when you get a chance...i passed along a blog award to you today...
kerry
i have a question for you... the queen of mod podge!!!
i am about to start my first project using it. do i use it as my glue to glue the picture down & then on top to seal it or just to seal it???
HELP!!!
I so remeber those days - and I can remember just wanting to crawl out of my skin because I was so dang tired of being touched all day!
You look adorable by the way.
I know it isn't easy - you are pretty much in the thick of it right now. A very demanding phase of life.
I do hope you get some breaks in there and some rest. (ha-ha huh?)
Thanks for visiting my blog!
I am no longer nursing, but I can relate to this. My 4-year-old daughter is GLUED to me. She says, "I want to be with you all the time, Mommy. You're my best friend."
I plan to remind her of this when she is a teenager! :)
This just made me laugh out loud. I love the expression on your face. Yeah, I would've thought that the shower was the one place you could get some privacy, but no such luck with persistant Miss Avery around!
