almost wordless wednesday

"totail plolish!"

Avery had her toenails painted for the first time last weekend. She is obsessed with them. She's constantly taking her shoes off to admire the beauty. Everywhere we go. Seriously.

I purposely kept from painting her toes until she was past 2 because I knew she would do this. She is, in fact, my daughter and a VERY girly little girl.

I guess I was worried that she would insist that her toenails always be freshly painted and thought that it may be a little strange for a young toddler to have painted toenails all the time. Maybe I was overthinking it, but that's what was going on in my head.

She adores her pretty toes!

By the way - check out the super cool p.j.'s. that Avery's rockin'.
I've officially given in to commercialism.
Pitiful.

Mae loves to get her toenails painted, too. (Even though she isn't a total girly girl.) I took her to get her fingernails and toenails painted with me at the "manicure shop" They only charged $10 AND they painted little flowers complete with tiny rhinestone jewels on her thumbs and big toes. It was so fun! You should try it!

i remember the first time i painted carter's toenails-she loved it! you're surprised, i'm sure! since then, i think i have painted her toes more than mine. but, i waited till after 2 too. i think it looks a little ridiculous on a little baby . . . just my opinion though.

My 4 years old daughter love to paint her fingernails. She do it almost 2 days a week.

They are so cute:)

That was the first thing Avery showed me on Sunday! She'so proud of thema nd should be too! There's nothin' cuter than todler tosies in pink! Perri was two when we started painting her toenails, too. She has been doing it ever since. I think it's inherently engraved within a "girly-girls" soul!

Awww...so cute! I haven't painted Little's yet for much the same reason, I thought it just seemed wrong for a one year old to have painted toes. :-)
