those terrible three's

When did this little sweetness

turn into this?

There's something to be said for the rumors circulating about the terrible three's.

Don't believe me?

Ask the family of three and all of the employees of a certain sub shop that we visited for dinner last night.

Evidently, something as simple as asking a three-year-old to eat their sandwich meat can turn into World War III...Complete with weeping and gnashing of teeth, scraping of the tongue, and fake vomitting noises.

Lovely.

This is going to be a fun year.

Yes...Yes....I know this age all to well. Try while pushing our shopping cart to the car and stopping in the middle of the parking lot main road while cars stopped and waited patiently while I sweated trying to hold her in one hand shrieking like a crazy person and not let the cart get away.

I was pretty sure someone was going to get out of the car and help me.

Sigh. That could have been you. Cause you understand :)

It's so so true! I found two rather delightful and was thinking "HA! We got it off easy - we are skipping the terrible twos I have heard so much about!" - And then we experienced there. *Shudder*

On a more positive note pretty much right when age four came along I saw an almost immediate positive change. So - you know, just another YEAR... But then of course Charlie will be three some day too... but be encouraged anyway. :)

The terrible 3's are legit. They started the very day my son woke up on his 3rd birthday. He's 4 now and all better!

We never had terrible 2's around here...but we definitely had terrible 3's :)
