Bossy McBossersson

Avery's newest obsession is Max and Ruby.

We've watched Max and Ruby's Halloween precisely one meeellion times now. And we'll probably be watching it all the way through Christmas, Valentines Day, and Easter.
'Cause that's how we do things around here.

I've gotta tell you, on a scale of 1-10, Max and Ruby is like a 8.5 on the annoying scale for me.
Not as annoying as Dragon Tales (because not many things in the universe are more annoying than Dragon Tales), but considerably more annoying than Diego.

Every time I am forced to watch Max and Ruby, I think,
"Poor Max.
Why can't Ruby just leave him alone?
Micro-Manage much, Ruby?"

Then something happened.
The other night, I came across this video from August.

It's looking like I may have a little Ruby on my hands.

It's funny how one 58 second video can have the power to change a simple children's cartoon into a stunning documentary on life with a three-year-old.

That is so funny. Max & Ruby IS annoying! And oh-my-gosh, Dragon Tales. Don't get me started on that. Caillou is pretty dang annoying too.

Have you seen the Easter Max & Ruby?

"Max-'s Choc-late chicken!!"

my mom bought us the thanksgiving dvd and we have the halloween one, but they insist on watching the easter one currently. why? i feel the same way. and, why does ruby always take credit for max's ideas. there is a moral dilemma there. poor max.
and, dragon tales. ugh! dragon tales. it ranks right next to the wonder pets for me. i despise them both. anything but those two. anything. please.

That video is awesome. They are both so adorable. That Charlie has such a sweet nature about him to endure the brushing from big sister.

Totally agree about Max & Ruby. Although, Max makes the show a little bearable for me.

Oh, and I am with Amber - Caillou has got to be the winner for most annoying show EVER!

Oh my goodness. This was embarassingly similar to watching every home movie I was ever in...Me being the Ruby, my little sister being the Max...yeah...I turned out OK? hahaha

I think being the oldest is harder than some might think...what with all the responsibility and making sure that young one stays in line!

Max and Ruby is extremely annoying and I thank the Lord my child isn't into that show. He's obsessed with Jack's Big Music Show, which they stopped making. On a totally different note, I wish you lived closer as I miss you and love you!

Yeah, it is pretty annoying. But you put up with Dora who I think has the most annoying voice and inflection ever!! I am glad that my little boy is mostly into the Disney shows right now and I'm trying to starve him of the others while I can help it. :)

Video is hilarious!!

Hi! I found your blog by way of creative party place and your Dora Fiesta Party. I have an about-to-be 3 year old little girl and she wants another Dora party this year for her birthday! I loved your party! My little girl would love it as well. Do you have any tips for me?
